Description

  • Partner with Sales and Account Management on major enterprise opportunities from discovery through commercial close.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for customer questions on architecture, deployment, integrations, data models, and security.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments, workflows, system landscapes, and integration needs.
  • Design and present solution architectures, technical proposals, diagrams, and platform overviews tailored to each customer.
  • Own the technical narrative in RFPs, RFIs, procurement questionnaires, and due diligence processes.
  • Deliver customer-specific demonstrations and design, scope, and lead proof-of-concept engagements.
  • Prepare executive stakeholders for technically complex meetings with briefing notes, objections, and recommended responses.
  • Lead technical responses to enterprise security reviews, IT due diligence, and vendor assessment questionnaires.
  • Create and maintain internal playbooks, FAQs, demo scripts, and technical reference materials for the commercial team.
  • Translate recurring customer friction and product gaps into structured feedback for Product and Engineering.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in pre-sales, solutions consulting, solutions engineering, or technical consulting within an enterprise B2B software or data platform company.
  • Demonstrable executive presence in C-suite meetings, including the ability to represent a platform independently.
  • Deep technical literacy across APIs, data integration patterns, cloud deployment, security frameworks, and enterprise IT governance.
  • Ability to own 90%+ of customer technical questions independently across architecture, security, integrations, and deployment.
  • Experience designing and delivering POCs and technical demonstrations for enterprise buyers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience with enterprise security and compliance processes, including GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and vendor due diligence.
  • Commercial awareness of how technical decisions affect deal velocity, win rates, and customer confidence.
  • Experience in maritime, shipping, energy, or industrial sectors is desirable.
  • Familiarity with knowledge graphs, graph databases such as Neo4j, or event-driven architectures is desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM-based or conversational AI products is desirable.
  • Exposure to ERP or operational software ecosystems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, AMOS, or SERTICA is desirable.
  • Experience building and maintaining pre-sales content libraries and technical playbooks is desirable.
