Description

  • Write and maintain Clumio documentation, including getting-started paths, protection guides, API and SDK references, and restore and recovery runbooks.
  • Build the fastest possible path to first value so users can protect their first AWS resources without support assistance.
  • Author deep technical guides on core AWS workloads such as S3, Iceberg, DynamoDB, EC2/EBS, and RDS/Aurora.
  • Own the technical narrative in AWS Marketplace listings, trial flows, and in-product onboarding copy.
  • Ship and maintain working example repositories, including Terraform modules, CloudFormation and CDK templates, scripts, and sample integrations.
  • Test every documented workflow in a real AWS environment and validate code, permissions, and failure modes.
  • Create hands-on lab and GameDay content for AWS events.
  • Produce short technical demos and walkthroughs in written, visual, or recorded formats.
  • Create content that ranks in search and is useful to AI assistants, using specific mechanisms, worked examples, and real numbers.
  • Partner with engineering, product, growth, field, and partner teams to improve onboarding and convert trials into paid users.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in a developer-facing technical role such as technical writing, developer relations, solutions engineering, support engineering, or software engineering with a strong writing track record.
  • Ability to write code and prose, with a requirement to validate the code before publishing the content.
  • Working fluency in AWS, including S3, IAM, DynamoDB, RDS, and EC2.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, APIs, SDKs, and the command line.
  • Docs-as-code experience with Git, Markdown/MDX, and PR-based review workflows.
  • Demonstrated technical content that has shipped and produced measurable impact, including samples and example repositories.
  • Strong teaching instinct and the ability to write for where readers are likely to get confused.
  • Experience with data protection, storage, data engineering, or lakehouse architectures such as Iceberg, Parquet, and S3 Tables (preferred).
  • Experience at a product-led company where documentation served as a growth channel with measurable targets (preferred).
  • AWS certification or a personal AWS account with meaningful usage history (preferred).
