Description

  • Work with Customer Success ESP customers to provide strategic and tactical technical mentorship.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to review business and operational challenges and recommend improved solutions.
  • Provide deep technical guidance to ESP customers and share customer sentiment with Commvault sales teams.
  • Partner with the SAM to support sustained customer environments.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, Customer Support, Product Management, and Development.
  • Refresh customer plans every 90 days based on site architecture, business objectives, and requirements.
  • Advance and manage customer-raised support issues to the ESP SAM team.
  • Coordinate monthly on-site meetings and knowledge-transfer sessions with customers.
  • Provide senior-level technical assistance to identify issues impacting deployment success and support call volume.
  • Identify account opportunities and communicate them to the Commvault account team.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English at a professional written and verbal level.
  • Fluency in German or French at a professional written and verbal level.
  • Proven technical background and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle challenging client demands.
  • Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Ability to convey technical information to business-oriented audiences.
  • Broad practical knowledge of IT environments, including EMC hardware, WAN technology, Windows OS, cloud storage, SAN, tape libraries, Exchange, virtualization, and clustering.
  • Working knowledge of disaster recovery and design capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of backup and recovery products such as Commvault, Veritas NBU, and CA (preferred/background knowledge).
