Description

  • Lead the supply chain team responsible for Plant Systems and Infrastructure across process systems, electrical systems, and plant infrastructure for active projects.
  • Own strategic sourcing, tactical procurement, supplier management, supplier development, supplier reliability, and supply chain project management activities.
  • Hire, train, support, develop, and coach team members, including direct reports such as Supplier Integration Managers.
  • Define, assign, monitor, and adjust team objectives and priorities to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Coordinate closely with engineering and construction leaders to plan work, manage workload, and resolve execution issues.
  • Act as an escalation point for supply chain and supplier issues and help drive solutions.
  • Maintain executive-level relationships with major suppliers.
  • Ensure adherence to and improvement of processes for sourcing, purchase order management, and supplier quality.
  • Report project status, risks, and issues to supply chain and project leadership teams.
  • Lead business transformation initiatives within the supply chain organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, finance, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of supply chain experience in a highly technical environment.
  • 5+ years of successful experience managing and developing a team.
  • Experience sourcing and overseeing complex projects involving equipment, parts, and services across multiple commodities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all functions and levels, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to structure and negotiate complex contracts.
  • Ability to develop sourcing strategies for projects or commodities.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Customer service mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Exceptional creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity, respect, attention to detail, collaboration, creativity, and agility.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience managing a team of people leaders is preferred.
  • Experience leading a business transformation project is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel and work occasional nights, weekends, or on-call shifts for construction sites and supplier travel.
  • Ability to perform activities such as typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a facility with industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead, high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics.
