Description

  • Lead multi-month implementations of the Accounting and Student Billing modules for complex Business Offices.
  • Provide platform transition consulting through discovery, evaluation, demonstrations, and revised setup options.
  • Orchestrate change management by documenting, socializing, and deploying approved configurations.
  • Create workflow models that help schools use the Accounting and Student Billing modules effectively.
  • Develop implementation project plans with the Lead Project Manager based on module configuration.
  • Design and coordinate tailored support handoffs for Accounting and Student Billing implementations.
  • Mentor clients on chart of accounts design as needed.
  • Coach Implementation Managers to build their accounting consulting capability.
  • Write and maintain internal documentation to support standardized implementation processes, training, and adoption.
  • Deliver direct training engagements for strategic and high-complexity Accounting offices.
  • Collect and maintain product feedback from client consultations.
  • Participate with Marketing and Sales at 2-3 independent school Business Office conferences per year.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree, qualification, or equivalent experience.
  • Accounting degree, coursework, or relevant experience in a Business Office setting is highly desirable.
  • 4+ years of experience implementing Student Billing and Accounting software, including data conversion.
  • SaaS implementation experience is a plus.
  • Experience leading Veracross Full Accounting Implementations, or similar SaaS accounting implementation experience, is preferred.
  • Experience working in an independent school Business Office running a SaaS accounting platform is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including the accounting equation, general journal, chart of accounts, general ledger reporting, fiscal closing, budgeting, reconciliations, and sub-ledger processing.
  • Skilled user of technology and comfortable learning multiple systems in a technical workspace.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including public speaking and presentation delivery.
  • Ability to make complex decisions and recommendations with limited direction and strong independent judgment.
  • Ability to learn complex enterprise software well enough to teach others.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
  • Highly organized and able to self-manage in a remote and/or hybrid work environment.
  • Ability to travel nationally if needed.
