Description

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation and deployment lifecycle across assigned product portfolios.
  • Oversee project delivery from contract handoff through go-live and transition to Customer Success and Support.
  • Partner with Sales to validate implementation scope, statements of work, delivery timelines, and cost estimates before contract execution.
  • Standardize and continuously improve the implementation operating model, including scoping standards, project methodology, handoff protocols, and go-live criteria.
  • Manage implementation execution across configuration, deployment, integrations, testing, training, and go-live readiness.
  • Track pipeline status, billing milestones, resource capacity, and revenue forecasting inputs.
  • Monitor cost of delivery, identify efficiency opportunities, and escalate margin risks.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for complex customer issues, delivery risks, and high-risk accounts.
  • Lead and develop managers, project managers, implementation leads, and specialists.
  • Define and track delivery KPIs and report performance, risks, and trends to leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is an asset.
  • 10–15 years of experience in software implementation, professional services, technical project delivery, or related roles.
  • 5+ years of progressive people leadership experience, including managing managers.
  • Proven success leading implementation or professional services in an enterprise software or SaaS environment.
  • Strong understanding of system deployment lifecycles, project scoping, project delivery, and go-live readiness frameworks.
  • Experience tracking implementation revenue pipelines, forecasting delivery-tied revenue, and managing milestone accountability.
  • Strong financial acumen, including cost-of-delivery management, margin tracking, and capacity planning with Finance and Executive Leadership.
  • Experience partnering with Sales during pre-sales to validate scope and establish realistic timelines.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills, including executive-level customer relationship management and leadership presentations.
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity, balance competing priorities, and resolve cross-functional challenges.
  • Comfort using project management tools, CRM platforms such as Salesforce, and delivery dashboards/data insights.
  • Experience in public safety, government technology, or mission-critical enterprise software is a strong asset.
  • Travel will be required.
  • Must comply with FBI CJIS Security Policy and successfully pass a comprehensive fingerprint-based background check; maintaining required security clearances is a condition of employment.
