Description

  • Review stories, FSDs, design documents, and other test basis materials to assess testability and provide feedback.
  • Design efficient test cases to achieve strong coverage for both manual and automated testing.
  • Perform manual testing across mobile applications, APIs, and databases.
  • Carry out test planning, test design, test execution, test monitoring, and test reporting activities.
  • Provide feedback to software engineering and other teams to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Support continuous integration, continuous testing, and release management activities.
  • Take an active role in all aspects of quality within the project.
  • Investigate issues, identify root causes, and help define possible solutions.

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in software testing.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Strong experience testing mobile applications, APIs, and databases.
  • Good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, test design techniques, and processes.
  • Experience with tools and frameworks such as Postman.
  • Knowledge of SQL and/or other scripting tools.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Experience using a test management system, preferably Zephyr.
  • Strong familiarity with Agile software development and Java or other object-oriented languages.
  • Experience with databases such as MySQL, MS SQL Server, Cosmos, or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with database queries is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills for root cause analysis and solution definition.
  • ISTQB certification is a plus.
