Description

  • Support compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local environmental regulations, including EPCRA, air permitting, SPCC, hazardous materials reporting, and related programs.
  • Prepare and submit environmental reports, permits, and records to regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct environmental audits, inspections, and assessments and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Track environmental metrics such as emissions, waste, and water usage and recommend sustainability improvements.
  • Provide technical guidance on environmental matters to internal departments and site teams.
  • Coordinate and maintain the ISO 14001 environmental management system, including documentation, procedures, records, audits, and management reviews.
  • Assist with air permitting, emissions inventory tracking, quarterly and annual deviation reporting, and related recordkeeping.
  • Prepare annual EPCRA Tier II reports and support hazardous materials inventory, labeling, storage, and disposal compliance.
  • Support refrigerant compliance, fuel storage system compliance, spill prevention programs, spill response planning, and incident follow-up.
  • Collaborate with safety teams on OSHA and provincial safety compliance, training, and incident investigations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety, or a related field.
  • 2-5+ years of experience in environmental compliance, preferably in industrial or data center environments.
  • Familiarity with U.S. and Canadian environmental regulations, including EPCRA, air permitting, hazardous materials management, refrigerants, and waste programs.
  • Experience with environmental management systems and sustainability programs is a plus.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations in the U.S. and Canada, including OSHA and provincial standards, is preferred.
  • Experience working in technology or data center environments is preferred.
  • Experience with ISO 14001 or similar environmental management systems is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, data quality troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work across multiple locations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; sponsorship or transfer of visa sponsorship is not available, including CPT/OPT.
