Description

  • Deliver Becker Professional Education course content in person or through Becker’s virtual platform, depending on assigned courses.
  • Explain subject matter using Becker-provided materials and provide examples, explanations, and visual aids.
  • Answer student questions clearly and confidently by demonstrating tax subject matter expertise.
  • Teach in a professional, engaging, and enthusiastic manner that keeps students attentive and respected.
  • Use images, graphics, charts, and other visual aids to make instruction more effective and engaging.
  • Participate in annual faculty meetings to stay current on Becker methodology, teaching skills, and best practices.
  • Support students in preparing for and passing the CPA examination.

Requirements

  • CPA certification is required.
  • Tax specialization is required.
  • Previous experience and passion for teaching in a higher education or professional setting is required.
  • Ability to instruct classes professionally using the Becker methodology.
  • Proficiency with technology and willingness to learn new tools.
  • High-energy, engaging, and positive personality that commands student respect.
  • Commitment to student success in passing the CPA examination.
  • Experience as a former Becker student and/or instructor is preferred, but not required.
  • Availability to teach depends on course offerings and instructor availability.
