Description

  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective students via Zoom, email, phone, and text.
  • Manage a database of leads and nurture prospects through the enrollment cycle.
  • Convert leads into fully enrolled candidates and support application submission and enrollment.
  • Meet weekly and monthly admissions goals.
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts with the Director of Admissions.
  • Build rapport with prospective candidates by understanding their background, motivation, and goals.
  • Provide accurate, timely, and culturally sensitive communication to applicants from diverse backgrounds.
  • Schedule appointments with qualified leads for program discussions and follow-up.
  • Develop strong knowledge of the Moreland University product portfolio to support the enrollment process.
  • Explain how Moreland University programs support teaching credentials and/or an M.Ed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in inside admissions, admissions, customer service, higher education, or a related role.
  • Inside admissions experience and knowledge with a proven track record of meeting targets.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with prospective candidates by phone, online, and email.
  • Strong written communication skills, including grammar, conventions, logical flow, and word choice.
  • Articulate and friendly speaking and writing style.
  • Metro DC location preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with a fast-paced, target-driven admissions environment (preferred).
