Description

  • Collaborate with product designers, engineers, and product managers to create usable and valuable product experiences.
  • Develop and execute product design solutions that address user and business problems and bring them to market.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Execute visual design work from concept through final hand-off to engineering.
  • Communicate design proposals and key milestones to peers and stakeholders.
  • Assist with user research, user interviews, and usability testing to deepen product team understanding of users.
  • Contribute to the design system, design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
  • Support data-driven decision making through experimentation, measurement, and analysis.
  • Monitor user reactions and performance metrics after new feature launches.
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging design practices and support ad hoc company tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of relevant work or internship experience in product design.
  • An online portfolio showcasing your design process and solutions, not only final visuals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in product design, computer science, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in learning about the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry and user problems in that space.
  • Basic understanding of design principles such as typography, composition, hierarchy, proportion, patterning, and color theory.
  • Knowledge of UX research methods, usability testing, prototyping, visual design, user-centered experience design, interaction design, and the creative process.
  • Experience designing for cross-platform experiences, including iOS, Android, and web interfaces.
  • Familiarity with modern interface design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Ability to articulate design decisions clearly and use qualitative and quantitative usability measurement methods.
  • Experience working collaboratively in teams and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision after 3 months.
  • Self-motivated, curious, creative, and strong in self-leadership and problem solving.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and frameworks like Tailwind or Bootstrap is a plus.
  • Keen interest in cryptocurrency, NFT, web3, and metaverse topics.
