Description

  • Collaborate with program sponsors and cross-functional security partners to identify, document, and assess security opportunities, challenges, and risks using qualitative and quantitative factors.
  • Serve as the Directly Responsible Individual for key security initiatives or workstreams, owning outcomes and driving decisions to keep programs moving forward.
  • Create program strategies and artifacts such as proposals, prioritization frameworks, roadmaps, dependency maps, and risk registers.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Security teams to influence adoption of critical initiatives and support security across the SDLC and product launches.
  • Manage multiple critical projects end to end, including milestones, timelines, dependencies, accountability, and communication of schedule and risk impacts.
  • Provide program status updates to Security leadership with transparency on metrics, effectiveness, strategic direction, and changes.
  • Conduct regular data analysis on security control performance to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities using BI tools.
  • Drive process improvement and scaling initiatives through AI tools, automation, and retrospectives to reduce manual toil and improve efficiency.
  • Write Objectives and Key Results to align teams on short-term and long-term goals and manage change across multi-quarter programs.
  • Rapidly identify and escalate risks to enable proactive collaboration and timely resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a program manager or in a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in security, risk management, compliance, information systems, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of and proven experience with formal program management methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of cyber/security domains.
  • Fluency in leveraging AI in daily workflows to improve efficiency and deliver business-ready outputs.
  • Exceptional time management, facilitation, communication, and organization skills.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts clearly for varied audiences.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and in environments where processes and paved roads may not yet exist.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or CISA are preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the technology and/or financial technology industry is preferred.
  • Experience working across all three lines of defense (3LOD) is preferred.
  • Advanced understanding of Generative AI, Google Workspace, JIRA, Linear, Superset, Looker, and SQL is preferred.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary range of $167,280 to $196,800 USD, excluding equity and bonus.
  • Total compensation may also include equity and bonus eligibility.
