Description

  • Architect, design, and implement foundational solutions for the subscription product.
  • Provide technical structure to the team and partner with management and stakeholders on strategic roadmaps.
  • Own project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables using technical expertise.
  • Mentor and train other engineers on design techniques and coding standards.
  • Write high-quality, well-tested code for customer-facing needs.
  • Own product and operational health for the systems and experiences supported by the team.
  • Collaborate across the organization to help engineers think big, take risks, and improve engineering practices.
  • Support rapid experimentation and funnel optimization to improve sign-ups and user engagement.
  • Contribute to international growth, on-chain partnerships, and strategic collaborations for Coinbase One.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Experience architecting and developing solutions to ambiguous, high-impact problems.
  • Experience managing technical roadmaps and driving engineering excellence across an organization.
  • Experience building or scaling subscription, membership, promotion, or growth-related systems.
  • Experience with growth metrics such as conversion, activation, retention, and engagement.
  • Experience with A/B testing frameworks.
  • Ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots in daily workflows, including human-in-the-loop practices.
  • Preferred experience building financial, high-reliability, or security systems.
  • Preferred crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activity, Ethereum addresses, ENS, and dApps or blockchain-based services.
