Description

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and tools that track and improve key quality metrics.
  • Partner with engineering teams on reliability and performance initiatives.
  • Improve testing, observability, and technical debt management to strengthen quality culture.
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and other functions on product strategy and roadmap alignment.
  • Lead design reviews, provide code review guidance, and drive process improvements that raise engineering quality.
  • Lead the adoption of AI-driven development practices.
  • Work with engineers across the retail team to define and execute a company-wide quality strategy.
  • Use reliability and performance data to identify issues and drive improvements to services.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Experience building performant, large-scale distributed systems.
  • Strong software engineering background with experience in Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, or similar languages.
  • Experience with observability, debugging, and profiling to improve reliability and performance.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and influence engineering culture.
  • Passion for improving product experience and engineering hygiene.
  • Ability to solve complex platform-level challenges and drive engineering standards across the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots such as LibreChat, Gemini, and Glean in daily workflows, with human-in-the-loop practices.
  • Experience with blockchain technology such as Bitcoin or Ethereum is preferred.
  • Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activity, is preferred.
