Description

  • Design and develop internal developer tools, services, frameworks, CLI tools, and test automation systems.
  • Gather requirements and feedback from engineering teams and iterate on developer solutions.
  • Improve and maintain CI/CD pipeline code and infrastructure for reliable, scalable builds and deployments.
  • Contribute to developer platform architecture by evaluating technologies and integrating open-source solutions.
  • Mentor engineers on DevX tools and efficient software delivery practices.
  • Ensure DevX solutions are documented, maintainable, secure, and aligned with engineering standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
  • Partner with engineering teams to define and enforce secure, scalable AI adoption standards.
  • Identify workflow bottlenecks and provide technical leadership across the internal development ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in Software Engineering or DevOps, focused on developer tooling or platforms.
  • Expertise in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, Go, or C#.
  • Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and build/release processes using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Strong understanding of version control, code reviews, automated testing, and software development best practices.
  • Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience mentoring engineers or leading technical projects.
  • Currently residing in Bulgaria.
  • Contributions to open-source developer tools or active developer-community involvement preferred.
  • Experience with DevX platforms such as Backstage or the Atlassian suite preferred.
