Description

  • Own and evolve end-to-end test automation strategy across UI, API, configuration changes, and critical workflows.
  • Design and maintain scalable E2E automation frameworks for multi-tenant, payer-specific workflows.
  • Build automated validation for deployment guardrails, release readiness, and production change safety.
  • Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows with Platform and DevOps teams.
  • Create automated coverage for high-risk paths including authorization flows, partner integrations, file pipelines, feature flags, and configuration changes.
  • Drive test reliability, reduce flakiness, and improve failure signals.
  • Define and enforce quality gates for production releases, blue/green deployments, canary deployments, and config changes.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to make business outcomes testable, measurable, and observable.
  • Improve test data management and environment stability for reliable automation at scale.
  • Mentor engineers on testability, automation best practices, and quality-first development.
  • Partner with SRE and Security on production readiness, observability, and compliance expectations.
  • Use AI-assisted tooling to accelerate test creation and analyze failures and incidents for better coverage and fewer flaky tests.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in QA Automation, SDET, or test engineering roles supporting production systems.
  • Strong hands-on experience building UI and API automation frameworks from the ground up, including repeatable datasets.
  • Experience with modern E2E frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress using TypeScript.
  • Strong API automation experience with REST-based testing frameworks.
  • Strong CI/CD experience, such as GitHub Actions or similar.
  • Experience validating cloud-native systems on AWS.
  • Comfort working in microservices and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience testing configuration-driven systems, feature flags, and environment-specific behavior.
  • Strong debugging skills across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers.
  • Proven ability to partner with platform or infrastructure teams on release pipelines and deployment safety.
  • Performance and reliability testing experience, such as k6 or similar, is preferred.
  • Healthcare or regulated domain experience is preferred.
  • Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Hyderabad, Telangana before starting work is preferred.
