Description

  • Build and maintain full-stack features across React web, React Native mobile apps, and a Python/Django backend.
  • Design and implement well-documented, well-tested REST APIs that work reliably under real-world connectivity conditions.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into scoped technical plans.
  • Write clean, maintainable code with strong test coverage.
  • Contribute to architecture and design decisions for new systems and features.
  • Mentor other engineers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and own production issues when they arise.
  • Improve development workflows, tooling, and engineering processes.
  • Promote documentation, quality, and continuous improvement across the team.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Python with experience building backend services and APIs.
  • Experience with Django or a similar Python web framework.
  • Experience building web applications with React.
  • Experience building mobile applications with React Native for iOS and Android.
  • Experience working with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
  • Experience building offline-first or connectivity-resilient mobile applications (preferred).
  • Experience with Django REST Framework (preferred).
  • Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based infrastructure (preferred).
  • Experience with feature flagging systems and incremental rollout strategies (preferred).
  • Experience using AI agents to accelerate development workflows (preferred).
  • Background in construction, workforce management, or field operations software (preferred).
  • Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical projects (preferred).
  • Experience optimizing mobile application performance on constrained devices or networks (preferred).
