Description

  • Embed with one or two teams per cycle and own AI solutions from intake through production deployment and monitoring.
  • Determine whether initiatives should be built, wrapped, or vetted, and establish validation standards.
  • Build agentic capabilities including tool and function calling, RAG, MCP integrations, orchestration, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
  • Architect solutions on Prenuvo’s shared AI platform, including model serving, AWS Bedrock contracts, evaluation tools, monitoring, tool registries, and prompt guardrails.
  • Define acceptance criteria, offline and online evaluations, and escalation triggers before development begins.
  • Run initiatives through AI intake and risk categorization processes in partnership with Regulatory, Privacy, and Legal teams.
  • Create reusable templates, registered tools, and reference architectures for the shared platform.
  • Improve team AI fluency through design reviews and office hours.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience building and delivering product-grade software, including AI-powered features in production.
  • Experience shipping LLM- or imaging-based applications using tool calling, RAG, or agent orchestration.
  • Strong ability to evaluate models, identify failure modes, and measure performance systematically.
  • Ability to establish and defend validation standards with clinical, product, and engineering stakeholders.
  • Strong product delivery skills, including scoping ambiguous requests and translating needs into validated designs.
  • Strong Python skills and practical cloud engineering and deployment experience, including APIs.
  • Experience working directly in other teams’ codebases; AWS and Bedrock experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience building evaluation harnesses, acceptance criteria, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
  • Experience in regulated, clinical, or healthcare-data environments and familiarity with PHI preferred.
  • Experience with MCP, tool/function interfaces, consulting, solutions architecture, or forward-deployed work preferred; legal authorization to work in Canada required.
