Description

  • Design RAG and enterprise search architectures.
  • Build ingestion, transformation, enrichment, document extraction, embedding, and indexing pipelines with Databricks.
  • Build and maintain Azure AI Search, vector search, and access-controlled retrieval indexes.
  • Implement Azure Document Intelligence pipelines for PDFs, forms, engineering documents, reports, and scanned content.
  • Design and maintain knowledge graph models for entities, relationships, metadata, lineage, and domain context.
  • Optimize retrieval relevance, data freshness, security trimming, citations, and knowledge quality.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, search engineering, analytics engineering, or knowledge platform roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Document Intelligence, Azure AI Search, Databricks, and SQL.
  • Experience building production-grade ingestion, transformation, enrichment, embedding, and indexing pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of vector search, embeddings, RAG architecture, and enterprise information retrieval.
  • Experience with knowledge graphs using Neo4j or other graph databases.
  • Understanding of metadata, lineage, data quality, governance, and knowledge management.
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured enterprise data and document extraction.
  • Knowledge of secure retrieval, filtering, citations, access controls, and data freshness.
  • Experience measuring and improving retrieval relevance and knowledge quality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data engineering, data science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Experience with chunking, ranking, metadata, citation design, RDF, semantic modeling, ontology design, or entity-relationship mapping is preferred.
  • Azure Data Engineer or Databricks certification is preferred.
