Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications, scalable backend services, and cloud-native data platforms.
  • Build and optimize end-to-end data pipelines using Databricks, Apache Spark, and DBT.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and observability across data workflows and platforms.
  • Develop production-ready AI and LLM-powered solutions, including agentic AI and conversational AI systems.
  • Build API-driven services that support internal and customer-facing applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical decisions and engineering best practices.
  • Deliver scalable, reliable AI and data solutions across the platform.
  • Contribute to the development of modern data engineering practices and architecture.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or AI Engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Python and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience building cloud-native applications on AWS.
  • Proven experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and modern data engineering frameworks.
  • Experience designing and developing APIs, backend services, distributed systems, and scalable workflows.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying AI or LLM-powered applications in production.
  • Strong knowledge of data architecture, dimensional modeling, Data Vault, Medallion Architecture, data governance, and data quality frameworks.
  • Experience building DBT transformation pipelines, testing frameworks, and data validation processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Preferred: Experience with AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, Strands, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of conversational AI, agent-based systems, and AI platform development.
  • Preferred: Experience with Fivetran, Delta Lake, and modern analytics ecosystems.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with CI/CD practices for Data Engineering and AI platforms.
  • Preferred: Experience implementing monitoring, observability, and governance solutions for AI-driven applications.
