Description

  • Design and develop full-stack features using React and TypeScript on the frontend and Java, Node.js, or Ruby on the backend.
  • Own complex technical problems and features from design through production deployment.
  • Use AI coding assistants and agents to accelerate delivery, automate repetitive work, and support engineering workflows.
  • Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions.
  • Write automated tests, conduct code reviews, and maintain code quality.
  • Deploy and monitor features in production using GitLab, AWS, and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with Product, design, and other teams to scope, prioritize, and deliver impactful work.
  • Improve the team’s engineering practices and raise technical standards across the EMEA team.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including senior- or lead-level ownership.
  • Proficiency in at least one backend language: Java, Ruby, or Node.js.
  • Experience with a modern frontend framework, ideally React, and SQL.
  • Experience designing scalable, reliable systems and conducting thorough code reviews.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools for code generation, agentic workflows, scripting, automation, or internal LLM-based tooling.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a distributed, remote-first environment.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • Ability to work from France during standard CET/CEST hours.
