Description

  • Lead the migration and re-architecture of legacy Golang services into a modern Python-based ecosystem.
  • Actively contribute to development by writing high-quality, scalable, and performant code.
  • Define and own the cloud architecture roadmap on Azure, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Ensure systems meet healthcare data standards and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and GDPR.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the team.
  • Promote best practices through code reviews and architecture standards.
  • Lead technical initiatives end-to-end and make architectural decisions that balance scalability, performance, and technical debt.
  • Support the build of a next-generation Data-as-a-Service platform capable of handling healthcare data at scale.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience with Python, building backend systems and data pipelines.
  • 5+ years of experience designing and deploying scalable cloud architectures on Azure.
  • Proven experience leading at least one major system migration or full re-architecture, such as Golang to Python.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Data-as-a-Service or high-volume data platforms.
  • Solid understanding of React for front-end integration.
  • Strong experience making architectural decisions that balance scalability, performance, and technical debt.
  • Ability to work autonomously and lead technical initiatives end-to-end.
  • Advanced English.
  • 2+ years of experience with Golang, especially for understanding legacy systems, preferred.
  • Experience working with healthcare data, DICOM standards, or Real-World Data (RWD), preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience with distributed systems, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and asynchronous processing, preferred.
  • Experience working in regulated environments or with data compliance frameworks such as HIPAA and GDPR, preferred.
