Description

  • Lead development of the React Native mobile app, owning architecture, performance, and code quality.
  • Design, develop, and deploy features across frontend and backend systems.
  • Build and refine offline-first capabilities for low-connectivity field operations.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions to support scalability and long-term maintainability.
  • Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas using Drizzle ORM.
  • Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews to maintain standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally in an Agile environment to deliver high-impact features.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • 2+ years of recent experience with React Native.
  • 2+ years of experience with Node.js and Express.js.
  • Hands-on experience with Vite, Tailwind CSS, and/or modern UI component libraries.
  • Proven experience with PostgreSQL and ORMs, preferably Drizzle ORM.
  • Ability to architect and implement scalable RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of web security best practices, including Helmet, CORS, and JWT.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, solution-oriented, and highly detail-oriented.
  • Experience with offline-first strategies and data sync patterns such as IndexedDB is preferred.
  • Comfort working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
