Description

  • Manage curriculum content developers, contractors, and part-time staff while mentoring their growth and building an inclusive team culture.
  • Translate product and content strategy into a development plan and lead execution of the curriculum roadmap.
  • Create high-level content designs, roadmaps, milestones, and resource plans for curriculum development.
  • Standardize workflows and development processes for building and launching curriculum content.
  • Set standards for pedagogy, technical accuracy, and content craft across products.
  • Manage external review processes with subject matter experts and teacher reviewers.
  • Oversee curriculum partnerships and ensure externally developed content aligns with CodeAI standards.
  • Drive innovation in curriculum design, including incorporating AI into content-development workflows.
  • Use teacher and student discovery insights, along with data, to inform content decisions.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships with product, design, engineering, marketing, and data teams.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience designing and developing K-12 curriculum and learning content at scale, ideally in CS and AI.
  • 2+ years of people management experience preferred, or equivalent experience mentoring staff and managing contractors.
  • Deep knowledge of CS and AI concepts aligned to the CSTA standards and AI Literacy Framework.
  • Fluency in at least one text-based programming language, such as Python or JavaScript.
  • Current understanding of curriculum development principles, including online and blended learning design.
  • Demonstrated commitment to content quality, review processes, developmental feedback, and curriculum innovation.
  • Direct experience teaching CS and/or AI in a K-12 setting.
  • Interest and experience incorporating AI into content-development workflows.
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading multiple complex projects, ideally using project management tools.
  • Understanding of equitable classrooms and student-centered pedagogy.
  • Experience building cross-functional and cross-organizational relationships.
  • Growth mindset and ability to drive clarity through ambiguity.
  • Passion for CS and AI education and the CodeAI mission.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Must work within the continental United States.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Must be willing to travel a minimum of two times per year for team events.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $117,000 to $154,000.
