Description

  • Develop the product vision and roadmap for curriculum and professional learning products in partnership with the Director of Teaching and Learning.
  • Maintain a single prioritized roadmap across curriculum and professional learning offerings.
  • Define product needs, including high-level content requirements.
  • Build expertise in the needs of students, teachers, districts, states, and partners through discovery and data.
  • Run pilots, surveys, focus groups, and classroom observations, and translate findings into product direction.
  • Set goals and metrics for products and track performance against them.
  • Monitor adoption, usage, retention, and satisfaction, and coordinate response actions with cross-functional teams.
  • Translate state and district requirements into product requirements and inform packaging and marketing for launches.
  • Collaborate early and often with curriculum, professional learning, platform, implementation, engineering, design, marketing, data, and growth teams.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders and leadership and contribute to team practices and culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, including owning a product roadmap end-to-end and shipping student-facing learning products at scale.
  • Experience with curriculum and/or professional learning product development, including products built for adult learners.
  • Experience conducting product discovery and turning user, market, and field insights into a prioritized roadmap.
  • Ability to use product, market, and customer data to define metrics, run pilots or studies, and monitor adoption, usage, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Deep knowledge of CS and AI concepts relevant to K–12 grade bands of the CSTA standards and the AI Literacy Framework.
  • Strong understanding of CS and AI educational products.
  • Proficiency in a text-based programming language such as Python or JavaScript.
  • Experience partnering with engineering and software product teams to set requirements and ship tooling, including AI-related requirements.
  • Strong prioritization and decision-making skills under ambiguity, with excellent written communication.
  • Understanding of equitable learning environments and student-centered pedagogy, with passion for the mission.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Must work within the continental United States.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Must be willing to travel at least two times per year for team events.

  • Expected salary range of $117,000 to $154,000.
