Description

  • Conduct audit and assessment activities, including audit planning, document and evidence review, procedure evaluation, and client interviews.
  • Assess client documentation for compliance with regulatory, industry, and security best-practice requirements.
  • Prepare, review, and deliver assessment reports to clients.
  • Educate clients on compliance activities and interpret framework requirements for them.
  • Manage priorities, tasks, and deliverables to meet utilization and project deadlines.
  • Evaluate the design and effectiveness of technology controls throughout the business cycle.
  • Collaborate with project managers, directors, quality management, and other delivery team members to meet project goals.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and escalate them to leadership.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the practice area and pursue continuous professional development.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as an IT Consultant, IT Auditor, Business Analyst, or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of audit procedures and IT security, especially related to SOC 1 and SOC 2.
  • Experience with SOC 1 and SOC 2 security audits or assessments, with some exposure to additional regulatory frameworks.
  • Ability to independently research technical topics and develop logical testing approaches.
  • Strong consulting skills, including the ability to advise, challenge the status quo, and build strong relationships.
  • Ability to build high-trust relationships and credibility quickly.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings for small or large groups.
  • Diplomatic and broad-minded approach.
  • Information Security, Technical Audit, or Cloud Technology certifications are desired.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
