Description

  • Partner with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical sales support
  • Identify and map customer initiatives and business problems to Cloudflare solutions
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demos that explain Cloudflare products to existing and potential customers
  • Lead demos and run proof-of-concept trials for prospects and customers
  • Build relationships and cultivate technical champions within customer accounts
  • Develop and present customer-facing content at all organizational levels within enterprise customers
  • Create professional content (white papers, blog posts, knowledge shares) to demonstrate and spread Cloudflare expertise among peers
  • Represent and evangelize Cloudflare externally at developer, community, technology, cybersecurity and industry events
  • Advise customers on best practices using in-depth vertical/domain knowledge
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and collaborate with internal teams; attend customer meetings and industry events as needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Solutions Engineer or other customer-facing technical role with CDN, security, networking, or SaaS
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Solid verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work on several projects and activities concurrently
  • Highly driven, curious, collaborative, and able to work with a sense of urgency
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% for customer meetings, conferences, and team collaboration
  • Fundamental understanding of customer network and application architectures, including hybrid architectures with Azure, AWS, and GCP
  • Understanding or experience with application/network security, VPN and remote access challenges, SIEM and log analytics platforms, and SaaS application environments
  • Experience interacting with senior-level executives and knowledge of routing/subnetting, SD-WAN, split tunnels, local internet breakout, and competitive CDN/security market
