Description

  • Proactively manage and grow a portfolio of assigned enterprise accounts (approximately 20–30 accounts with $1B–$25B in annual revenues).
  • Close new and expansion business on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to meet or exceed assigned quota.
  • Develop and execute Enterprise Account Plans and lead internal cross-functional teams to design and deliver solutions for customer digital transformation.
  • Build and maintain C-level and senior decision-maker relationships to establish strategic alignment with customers’ transformative objectives.
  • Develop pipeline through high levels of direct and indirect outreach, deeply understanding customer goals and identifying where Cloudflare can add value.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and report status of new and expansion opportunities in weekly sales meetings, leveraging the MEDDPIC framework in SFDC.
  • Organize and deliver executive-level presentations, proposals, and commercial terms, and negotiate win–win scenarios for customers and Cloudflare.
  • Own customer relationships, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure Cloudflare is correctly positioned to win business.
  • Leverage Executive Briefing Center and company resources to establish executive sponsorship and account support.
  • Build and maintain relationships with channel partners and participate in team meetings to provide GTM guidance for partnering with accounts.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience with proficiency in cloud networking and security technology and industry awareness.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding quota in enterprise sales.
  • Expert sales acumen across discovery, positioning, competing, negotiating, closing, and expanding accounts.
  • Experience engaging with C-level executives and senior technical decision-makers in business-level outcome conversations.
  • Proven ability to lead a multidisciplinary team over a long-term account horizon and drive cross-functional execution.
  • Comfortable selling to obtain new business and expand existing business with strong closing skills.
  • Experience with forecasting, pipeline management, and SFDC disciplines; familiarity using the MEDDPIC framework is preferred.
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships quickly, own the room in executive settings, and convert business issues into solutions.
  • Personal attributes: integrity, positive attitude, discipline, aggressiveness in execution and planning, and resilience when working plans in the face of challenge.
  • Must reside in the Dallas–Fort Worth area (role is remote but location-based requirement); any offer may be conditioned on authorization to receive U.S. export-controlled software/technology without sponsorship.
