Description

  • Lead project management of the Solar Industry Association Initiative workplan and align it with partner workplans across regions.
  • Manage grant processing, compliance, grantee engagement, and other project management responsibilities.
  • Track project timelines and global event calendars, identify risks, and recommend mitigation actions to keep work on schedule.
  • Coordinate and organize briefings, convenings, and events at global and regional levels.
  • Monitor grantee progress against agreed workplans and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
  • Collect, consolidate, and synthesize updates from grantees through regional leads to maintain portfolio visibility.
  • Lead regular coordination meetings with industry association grantees, with emphasis on technical workstreams and implementation milestones.
  • Provide weekly portfolio updates and structured reporting to the core project team and key funders.
  • Support technical expert teams from partner organizations and ensure their work across Africa, Asia, and Latin America is delivered on time and with quality.
  • Facilitate coordination between grantees and technical/communications experts on regional and national policy recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 7 years of work experience in project management and the solar sector.
  • Strong attention to detail and deadline management skills.
  • Experience in complex project management and in developing and maintaining a precise work plan.
  • Experience in grant management and grant processing.
  • Experience organizing events, including 1–3 hour events.
  • Experience communicating directly with funders and developing concise reporting.
  • Experience working with consultants on capacity building and strategic communications.
  • Ability to manage numerous competing priorities and respond quickly to management requests.
  • Experience working in a global matrixed team.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of ClimateWorks Foundation.
  • Preferred: experience working with solar industry associations.
  • Preferred: experience using grant management tools such as Salesforce.
  • Preferred: data interpretation and analysis experience.
