Description

  • Lead day-to-day deposit operations, including account onboarding and maintenance, wires, debit card operations, ACH, check processing and returns, and online banking.
  • Lead the Treasury Management team and oversee commercial treasury management operations.
  • Plan and implement operational improvements, resolve issues, and take corrective action to keep operations effective.
  • Determine staffing needs and oversee hiring, development, management, and training of team members.
  • Assist with department budgeting, monitor expenditures, and explain variances.
  • Develop, maintain, and update department policies, procedures, and control standards.
  • Coordinate preparation for internal and external audits and exams.
  • Manage conversion activities, project plans, product enhancements, implementations, process integration, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Coordinate with other departments on new product and service implementations.
  • Monitor banking industry trends to identify service enhancements and new product opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; equivalent banking experience may be considered.
  • 10+ years of banking experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience required.
  • Experience leading diverse teams from entry level to middle manager.
  • Strong understanding of deposit operations, loan operations, general ledger, treasury management, digital banking, and banking compliance requirements.
  • Sound knowledge of financial products and services, banking regulations, and laws.
  • Strong accounting and math skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with frequent changes.
  • Highly organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking, and professional correspondence; able to communicate tactfully with customers, employees, and leadership.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other department software.
  • Jack Henry SilverLake experience preferred.
  • Experience with Jack Henry applications such as Enterprise Workflow, Cognos, Xperience, Banno, Treasury Management, DirectLine, or PayCenter/FedNow preferred.
