Description

  • Support and guide users, customers, and prospects through cases, chat, Slack, community channels, and meetings.
  • Triage support tickets and deliver first-line technical support across ticketing systems, email, Slack, chat, and phone.
  • Provide professional responses, on-call coverage, and guidance within required SLAs.
  • Work with Support Services, Engineering, Go to Market, and Product Management to define needed product functionality.
  • Develop reusable solutions for ClickHouse Cloud and open-source use cases through documentation, knowledge base articles, blogs, meetups, webinars, and training.
  • Assist with pre-sales and post-sales customer activities, including deeply technical proof-of-concept work.
  • Mentor and train colleagues, users, and customers by sharing technical knowledge.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with colleagues, customers, and partners.
  • Suggest improvements to support processes and operations.

Requirements

  • Technical breadth and depth in ClickHouse open-source or ClickHouse Cloud, or related domains such as SQL databases, OLAP, cloud-native SaaS, and distributed systems.
  • Previous technical experience in roles such as Support Engineer, Consultant, Database Administrator, Site Reliability Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Software Engineer, or Systems Engineer.
  • Availability to support a global, distributed 24x7 schedule.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work fully remote with reliable connectivity.
  • Team-oriented mindset with empathy, global engagement, and problem-solving ability.
  • Self-driven, curious, and eager to continuously learn and grow.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with urgency and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Bonus: experience with ClickHouse.
  • Bonus: experience with OSS and open-source technologies as a user, community member, or contributor.
  • Bonus: experience with Azure, GCP, or AWS.
  • Bonus: experience with data pipelines such as Kafka, Kinesis, Spark, or RabbitMQ.
