Description

  • Support and guide ClickHouse users, customers, and prospects through cases, chat, Slack, community channels, and virtual meetings.
  • Deliver first-line technical support and meet service level agreements across ticketing systems, email, Slack, chat, and phone.
  • Triage support tickets and handle a wide variety of customer-facing support tasks.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including assistance with proofs of concept.
  • Partner with Go To Market, Support Services, Engineering, and Product teams to define needed functionality and improve the support experience.
  • Create customer-facing technical content such as documentation, knowledge base articles, blogs, meetups, webinars, and training materials.
  • Mentor, train, and share knowledge with colleagues, users, and customers.
  • Build trusted relationships with colleagues, customers, and partners.
  • Contribute suggestions to improve support processes and operations at ClickHouse.

Requirements

  • Must be located in Australia for this remote role.
  • Technical breadth and depth in ClickHouse open-source, ClickHouse Cloud, or related domains such as SQL databases, OLAP, cloud-native SaaS, and distributed systems.
  • Previous technical experience in a role such as Support Engineer, Consultant, Database Administrator, Site Reliability Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Software Engineer, or Systems Engineer.
  • Ability to be present and available for a global 24x7 support schedule in a distributed environment.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work fully remote with reliable connectivity.
  • Team-oriented mindset with empathy, global engagement, and problem-solving ability.
  • Self-driven, curious, and eager to continuously learn and grow.
  • Experience with ClickHouse is a bonus.
  • Experience with open-source technologies as a user, community member, or contributor is a bonus.
  • Experience with Azure, GCP, or AWS is a bonus.
  • Experience with data pipelines such as Kafka, Kinesis, Spark, or RabbitMQ is a bonus.
