Description

  • Own a named book of strategic financial services accounts and build multi-threaded relationships across technical, business, and executive stakeholders.
  • Drive net new ARR and expansion revenue through a consultative, value-based sales approach.
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles from discovery through procurement, legal, security review, negotiation, and close.
  • Partner with Solutions Architects and Customer Success to align technical solutions and support long-term customer outcomes.
  • Articulate ClickHouse’s technical differentiation, including performance, architecture, and deployment models, to technical and executive buyers.
  • Develop strategic account plans, identify expansion opportunities, and map stakeholder and political landscapes within each account.
  • Represent customer feedback internally to influence product roadmap priorities and go-to-market strategy for the financial services vertical.
  • Travel to customer sites, conferences, and team offsites as needed, approximately 25–40% of the time.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of enterprise sales experience, including at least 3 years selling to financial services organizations.
  • Proven track record closing large, complex deals of $500K+ ACV with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience selling technical infrastructure products such as databases, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, or developer tools.
  • Ability to engage credibly in technical conversations with data engineers, architects, and CTOs.
  • Deep understanding of financial services technology environments, including real-time risk, fraud, trading analytics, and regulatory reporting.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to build trusted advisor relationships at the C-suite and VP level.
  • Experience in a high-growth, early-stage, or scaling startup environment is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, or similar enterprise sales methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
  • Prior experience selling open-source or consumption-based products is a plus.
