Description

  • Identify and nurture sales opportunities, build pipeline, and close short-term ClickHouse Cloud monthly contracts.
  • Develop and grow a strategic enterprise business with complex, long sales cycles in the Australian market.
  • Evangelize ClickHouse’s vision and cloud solutions to secure strategic commercial commitments.
  • Take a solution-based approach to selling, delivering clear business value to customers.
  • Define positioning and drive market adoption for ClickHouse Cloud.
  • Manage customer details, use cases, timelines, and forecasting within Salesforce.
  • Deliver accurate monthly business and sales forecasts.
  • Engage with and contribute to the local ClickHouse ecosystem by participating in developer meetups and organizing ClickHouse-specific community events.
  • Collaborate with and manage cross-functional resources, including dedicated teams and executive stakeholders, to drive successful customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience (open source software business models preferred) with a strong background in cloud and infrastructure software.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional resources and coordinate with teams up to the executive level.
  • Expertise aligning cloud solutions with customer business needs, challenges, and technical requirements.
  • Strong business and technical acumen with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build long-lasting customer relationships and work cross-functionally in diverse, global teams.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRMs to manage pipeline, customer details, and forecasting.
  • Track record of delivering accurate monthly forecasts.
  • Preferred: entrepreneurial mindset and history of delivering results in fast-moving environments.
  • Preferred: experience working effectively in a remote-first global organization and prior success selling databases or deploying applications with major cloud providers.
