Description

  • Own and build key product features across frontend and backend systems with a focus on developer experience (DX).
  • Design, implement, and ship frontend and backend code that enables fast debugging and monitoring workflows for engineers.
  • Scale and optimize the cloud-hosted observability platform to process petabytes of telemetry data with high performance.
  • Develop groundbreaking analysis tools and query-generation workflows to help engineers pinpoint root causes faster.
  • Collaborate with open-source contributors, customers, and the community to gather feedback and incorporate it into the product roadmap.
  • Build and maintain integrations, SDKs, and developer tooling that improve usability and adoption.
  • Work with infrastructure and platform teams to containerize, deploy, and operate services at scale.
  • Participate in product shaping, technical design discussions, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful features.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably building developer tools.
  • Strong TypeScript and Node.js experience (Next.js for frontend, Express for backend).
  • Strong proficiency in React.js for building frontend interfaces.
  • Proficiency in SQL for query generation on ClickHouse.
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
  • Passion for open source and working with developer communities and contributors.
  • Experience creating developer tooling and designing experiences for developers.
  • Preferred: expertise in distributed systems and event ingestion pipelines.
  • Preferred: experience with columnar databases (e.g., ClickHouse) and familiarity with additional languages such as Python, Rust, or PHP for integrations.
  • Preferred: experience building or working with SDKs.
