Description

  • Identify, nurture, and develop sales opportunities and build a robust pipeline.
  • Close short-term cloud monthly contracts and annual committed-spend arrangements.
  • Articulate and evangelize ClickHouse and ClickHouse Cloud positioning and value to customers.
  • Use a solution-based selling approach to map ClickHouse Cloud to customer business and technical needs.
  • Promote product innovation and the benefits of ClickHouse Cloud to prospects and customers.
  • Track customer details, use cases, decision criteria, next steps, and forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Accurately forecast business on a monthly cadence.
  • Engage with and contribute to the user and developer community by attending and driving ClickHouse meetups in key metro areas.
  • Coordinate resources across dedicated teams, virtual teams, and executive staff to ensure successful sales outcomes.

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of experience (minimum) — experience with Open Source software business models preferred.
  • Proficiency in Cloud and Infrastructure software is a minimum requirement.
  • Recent experience working with GenAI or AI-native companies.
  • Experience selling technical infrastructure or cloud solutions (cloud SaaS, data analytics, or observability is a plus).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and sales forecasting processes.
  • Ability to manage resources and align cross-functional and executive teams around sales opportunities.
  • Strong business acumen and technology focus with outstanding written and oral communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Passion for building long-lasting customer relationships and working cross-functionally in diverse teams.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a track record of delivering results in fast-moving environments (preferred).
  • Experience working effectively in a remote, global, distributed organization (preferred).

  • Typical starting salary (US): $225,000—$275,000 USD; US premium markets (e.g., SF Bay Area, NYC): $250,000—$300,000 USD.
