Description

  • Own and evolve the design of Clearstream’s web and mobile apps as new features are shipped and existing experiences are improved.
  • Work closely with the Director of Engineering and the product team to shape product decisions and execution.
  • Create wireframes, interaction designs, visual designs, and design system updates.
  • Improve usability, consistency, and overall craft across the product experience.
  • Build a deep understanding of the product, customers, integration partners, and the church and non-profit technology space.
  • Review product work and pull requests to identify design issues, inconsistencies, and edge cases.
  • Provide recommendations for improving the design system and maintaining it over time.
  • Design with the full system in mind, including responsiveness, transitions, empty states, and other product states.

Requirements

  • Experience designing modern web and mobile product experiences, especially in B2B SaaS.
  • Strong design and UX instincts with attention to hierarchy, spacing, typography, transitions, states, dark mode, and visual detail.
  • Excellent product thinking and the ability to understand users, problems, and edge cases quickly.
  • High proficiency in Figma or Paper, including components, variables, and organized design files.
  • Strong understanding of the frontend handoff process.
  • Familiarity with Vue 3, Tailwind, and TypeScript, or the ability to design effectively for that stack.
  • Comfort designing consistently across web apps, mobile apps, and brand experiences.
  • A genuine desire to serve the local church.
  • Ability to maintain at least a six-hour overlap with 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. ET.
  • Preferred examples of work that reflect clear, modern interfaces similar to products like Linear, Typeform, Intercom, Slack, OpenPhone, or Notion.

  • Base salary of $90,000–$125,000.
