Description

  • Collaborate with product teams, business analysts, testers, and stakeholders to understand product features and needs.
  • Decompose epics into features and user stories that development teams can understand and approve.
  • Lead and facilitate product backlog refinement sessions.
  • Support backlog prioritization, feature sequencing, and backlog organization.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing and related product validation activities.
  • Influence and guide product ownership responsibilities as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Proxy PO.
  • Build trust, respect, and strong working relationships with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Communicate effectively across teams, including offshore team members, to support project delivery.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of business analysis experience, including gathering requirements for software development, creating user stories, and product backlog grooming.
  • 1+ year of experience working as a Product Owner or Proxy PO in a complex environment.
  • 3+ years of experience working in an agile environment with a strong agile mindset.
  • Scrum certification such as CSM or CSPO is preferred.
  • Experience working with offshore teams.
  • Experience with Jira or similar tools.
  • Prior experience working as a business analyst is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Must be located within commuting distance of Tampa, with occasional office visits required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
