Description

Own the reliability and quality standards for the AI copilot.
Design evaluation systems measuring correctness, safety, latency, and regression risk across market analysis, portfolio reasoning, risk, and trading workflows.
Develop and maintain golden sets, scenario suites, adversarial tests, stress cases, and market-regime test corpora.
Build automated quality gates and regression workflows that prevent releases when key metrics decline.
Define safe tool and action contracts with deterministic previews, confirmations, and auditability.
Run model improvement cycles involving data collection, labeling, error analysis, prompt and tooling changes, and appropriate model optimization.
Design AI monitoring and incident response processes, including telemetry, alerting, root-cause analysis, and fix-forward workflows.
Develop expertise in trading concepts such as margin, shorting, portfolio margin, risk, and execution, and communicate them accurately to users.

Requirements

8+ years of experience shipping production software and strong proficiency in at least one programming language.
Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, testing methodologies, and systems design.
Experience building evaluation frameworks, test harnesses, and benchmark suites for complex systems such as LLMs, agents, search, retrieval, ranking, or recommenders.
Experience with dataset curation, labeling and quality assurance, offline experimentation, and deploying measurable model improvements.
Ability to define metrics, build measurement pipelines, and use data to guide engineering and product decisions.
Comfort working across the stack, including debugging model and tooling failures, instrumenting services, and partnering on safe, trustworthy UX.
Highly self-motivated and willing to work in unfamiliar technical and domain areas.
Experience with fine-tuning, preference optimization, distillation, or prompt/compiler techniques for tool-use reliability (preferred).
Experience creating domain-specific benchmarks and adversarial test suites for high-stakes applications (preferred).
Trading expertise, Rust and performance-sensitive service experience, or experience with AI incident response and SLOs (preferred).

Base salary range of $200,000–$500,000, excluding bonuses and equity.
