Description

  • Execute manual exploratory testing for new features and identify edge cases and usability issues.
  • Build and maintain automated test scripts to support long-term stability.
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Playwright or Selenium.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and represent the QA perspective on quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to clarify acceptance criteria and testability.
  • Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with developers to resolve issues promptly.
  • Investigate defects, help isolate root causes, and coordinate with engineering teams to confirm fixes.
  • Advocate for shift-left testing practices and continuous improvement in quality processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automation.
  • Experience performing both manual and automated testing.
  • Proficiency with automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Expertise with at least one programming or scripting language.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies and a shift-left mindset.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, with AWS preferred.
  • Preferred experience with BDD tools and practices such as Gherkin and Cucumber.
  • Preferred familiarity with performance or integration testing.
  • Preferred familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira or TestRail.
  • Preferred knowledge of API testing tools.
