Description

  • Build and oversee the deployment and operation of technology architecture, solutions, and software for structured and unstructured data.
  • Design processes and data structures to channel data from multiple inputs into distributed cloud storage, local databases, and other storage systems.
  • Develop tools and programming to cleanse, organize, transform, and maintain data integrity on an automated basis.
  • Ensure compatibility and operability of data connections, flows, storage requirements, and software design standards.
  • Review business and product requirements for data operations and recommend system and storage changes to meet ongoing needs.
  • Facilitate technical requirements gathering and maintain consistency of data architecture across systems.
  • Develop secure, high-quality production code and review or debug code written by others.
  • Oversee live SaaS operations, monitor KPIs, and identify opportunities and risks.
  • Implement multi-tenant systems with a focus on isolation and security.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Implementation, Product, Architects, engineers, BI developers, and Quality Engineers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or Java.
  • Expertise in data architecture and business intelligence systems, including ELT development, data transformation, data modeling, report development, and BI dashboard development.
  • Strong relational database skills, including database design, scalability, and SQL.
  • Experience querying and extracting data from databases.
  • Knowledge of data concepts such as ETL, data structures, metadata, and workflow management.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with enterprise-class software release cycles and SaaS product life cycles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA.
  • Preferred: experience working in AWS.
  • Preferred: experience in healthcare and familiarity with HIPAA, SOC, or HITRUST requirements.
