Description

  • Contribute to the strategy and direction of the Civica Pensions product set.
  • Socialise the pensions product direction with stakeholders and customers.
  • Prioritise pensions enhancements, including software and regulatory changes, in line with market and business priorities.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and business goals to refine the product roadmap.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, commercial, and customer success teams to support product development and launch.
  • Conduct customer interviews, surveys, and market research to gather feedback and insights for product decisions.
  • Define and prioritise product requirements to guide the engineering process.
  • Oversee the full product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of features and releases.
  • Plan and execute product launches with Product Marketing, including launch plans, positioning, and messaging.
  • Analyse data and metrics to measure product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Champion knowledge sharing and product decision/design documentation.

Requirements

  • Strong experience product managing pensions software solutions.
  • Extensive experience with local government or public sector pensions software solutions and regulation.
  • Strong product management experience in a modern software or product-led organisation.
  • Experience working with Agile development methodologies to manage product development and collaborate with engineering teams.
  • Ability to navigate product lifecycle management complexities.
  • Strong analytical skills to collect, analyse, and interpret data to inform product decisions and identify market opportunities.
  • Ability to prioritise features, requirements, and tasks based on customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
  • Ability to build and execute a product roadmap and strategy aligned with customer needs and company goals.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success.
  • Experience crafting compelling stories to communicate product vision, value, and benefits to stakeholders at different levels.
