Description

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications using Kotlin.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver features aligned with business and user needs.
  • Ensure application performance, quality, stability, and responsiveness across supported Android devices and versions.
  • Identify and resolve software defects, technical issues, memory concerns, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Maintain readable, organized, and maintainable code standards.
  • Implement automated development and testing practices to improve reliability and delivery efficiency.
  • Integrate Android applications with backend services through RESTful APIs.
  • Apply Android design principles and UI/UX guidelines to create intuitive, consistent experiences.
  • Use profiling and memory-analysis tools to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Contribute to Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile initiatives and shared code integration across mobile platforms.

Requirements

  • Proven Android application development experience, supported by a portfolio or relevant projects.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin, including core language features, object-oriented programming, and modern development practices.
  • Understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle, including requirements, implementation, testing, release, maintenance, and support.
  • Proven experience with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) and sharing code across mobile platforms.
  • Experience integrating Android applications with backend services through RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of Android design principles, interface guidelines, and accessible UI/UX standards.
  • Experience diagnosing performance bottlenecks, analyzing memory usage, and optimizing responsiveness with profiling and debugging tools.
  • Proficiency with Git or other version-control tools.
  • Knowledge of maintainable code practices, code organization, and development automation.
  • Ability to investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
