Description

  • Define and execute data quality checks and reconciliation logic against curated data and approved Finance benchmarks.
  • Validate migrated and re-pointed reports and dashboards against legacy outputs through parallel-run comparisons.
  • Investigate data quality issues and reconciliation variances with Data Engineering to identify root causes.
  • Build and maintain data quality dashboards and reports in Power BI or an equivalent BI tool.
  • Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to establish acceptance criteria and quality thresholds.
  • Prepare reconciliation results, comparison evidence, and sign-off packages for delivery and cutover gates.
  • Document data quality rules and known issues for client team maintenance after handoff.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst with strong hands-on SQL skills.
  • Experience building or validating reports and dashboards in Power BI or a comparable enterprise BI tool.
  • Experience with data-quality or reconciliation methodologies, such as dbt tests, Great Expectations, or structured manual reconciliation.
  • Experience working with financial or accounting data and closed-period reconciliation constraints.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document data quality findings clearly.
  • Fluent English at B2 level for direct coordination with client stakeholders.
  • Experience with financial or general-ledger reporting, including charts of accounts, dimensions, and close processes (preferred).
  • Experience validating report or dashboard migrations from legacy systems (preferred).
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses, especially Snowflake, and mortgage, lending, or financial-services reporting (preferred).
