Description

  • Define and execute data-quality checks and reconciliation logic against curated data, approved Finance benchmarks, and closed accounting periods.
  • Validate migrated reports and dashboards against legacy-source outputs, including parallel-run comparisons during cutover.
  • Investigate data-quality issues and reconciliation variances with Data Engineering and document root causes.
  • Build and maintain Power BI data-quality dashboards and reports for Finance and delivery stakeholders.
  • Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to establish acceptance criteria and quality thresholds for reporting deliverables.
  • Produce reconciliation results, parallel-run comparisons, and sign-off packages for delivery and cutover gates.
  • Document data-quality rules and known issues for the client team’s post-handoff maintenance.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst, including strong hands-on SQL for data querying, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Experience building or validating reports and dashboards in Power BI or a comparable enterprise BI tool.
  • Experience with data-quality or reconciliation practices, such as dbt tests, Great Expectations, or structured manual reconciliation.
  • Experience working with financial, accounting, FP&A, or mortgage data, including closed-period reconciliation constraints.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
  • Strong attention to detail and clear written documentation skills.
  • Fluent English at B2 level for coordinating findings and evidence with client stakeholders.
  • Experience with financial or general-ledger reporting domains, including chart of accounts, dimensions, and close processes (preferred).
  • Experience validating report or dashboard migrations from legacy source systems to new platforms (preferred).
