Description

  • Build versioned SQL transformation logic across staging, conformed, and curated warehouse layers.
  • Recompute application-layer business logic, including account balances and other derived financial values.
  • Flatten and conform key-value and dimension-set structures into standard dimensional attributes.
  • Convert spreadsheet and report formulas into reusable, versioned curated-layer transformations.
  • Implement reconciliation and data-quality checks from replication integrity through report-level parity.
  • Enable BI semantic models and reporting tools to consume approved curated data objects.
  • Participate in code reviews, CI/CD promotion, and automated regression testing.

Requirements

  • Hands-on data engineering experience with substantial SQL transformation work in a cloud data warehouse.
  • Experience with Snowflake is strongly preferred.
  • Experience building dimensional or curated models from normalized or application-native source structures.
  • Experience with reconciliation and data-quality frameworks, including variance detection and exception handling.
  • Experience with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD promotion from development through production.
  • Fluent English at B2 level for collaboration with distributed teams and client stakeholders.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or another enterprise BI platform is preferred.
  • Experience with financial or general-ledger data modeling is preferred.
  • Experience in mortgage, lending, or financial-services data engineering is preferred.
