Description

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Implement data platforms, data lakes, warehouses, and cloud-based integration solutions.
  • Build and optimize ingestion frameworks for structured and unstructured data.
  • Perform data validation, transformation, reconciliation, and performance tuning.
  • Support migrations from legacy data environments to modern cloud architectures.
  • Gather client requirements and translate business needs into technical data solutions.
  • Document technical designs, architecture decisions, procedures, and development standards.
  • Collaborate with BI, analytics, AI, and data science teams to support reliable data access.
  • Implement data governance, security, privacy, and compliance controls.
  • Contribute to project delivery, internal accelerators, proposals, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in data engineering, data integration, analytics engineering, software engineering, or a related technical role.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, relational databases, and ETL/ELT development.
  • Understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and data quality practices.
  • Experience with Python, Scala, Java, or another programming language.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or another cloud platform.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a client-facing environment and manage ambiguity effectively.
  • Preferred experience with Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Synapse, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Airflow, dbt, or comparable platforms.
  • Preferred experience with Apache Spark, data governance, consulting delivery, or relevant cloud and data certifications.

  • Remote role with approximately 50% travel; Northeast U.S. preferred.
  • Estimated salary range of $75,000–$85,000 USD.
  • Eligibility for discretionary bonuses, commissions, or other incentive programs.
