Description

  • Design and implement robust architectural frameworks aligned with business goals.
  • Partner with business owners and RTEs to define scope, success metrics, milestones, risks, and transition-to-run.
  • Ensure traceability from strategy to capabilities and portfolio items using Jira and Jira Align.
  • Maintain a live repository for dependencies, lifecycle, cost drivers, regulatory exposure, and blast radius.
  • Present architectural options and trade-offs, and surface dependency and impact signals ahead of PI Planning.
  • Promote telemetry, data governance, and pragmatic AI practices to support evidence-based decisions.
  • Curate reference capabilities, information, and integration principles to improve reuse and alignment.
  • Coach solution and software architects on architectural direction and standards.
  • Define and report outcome measures such as lead time, reliability/SLOs, risk reduction, cost avoidance, and adoption.
  • Support PI Planning with architectural context and executive visibility.

Requirements

  • Mastery in system architecture with experience in capability mapping, target-state design, incremental road-mapping, and operating-model design.
  • Hands-on experience with architectural tools.
  • Experience linking strategy and capabilities to SAFe or Lean Portfolio concepts such as themes and OKRs through epics and features.
  • Experience supporting PI Planning with architectural context.
  • Knowledge of information and data governance, including lineage, ownership/stewardship, and privacy.
  • Experience assessing technology lifecycle, obsolescence, vendor risk, regulatory constraints, and multi-region constraints.
  • Experience evaluating cloud/platform, integration, eventing, and observability options.
  • AI and analytics orientation, with experience governing telemetry-driven decisions and supporting AI adoption.
  • Strong executive communication and decision-framing skills.
  • Nice to have: cloud architecture certification.
  • Minimum English proficiency of B2 Upper Intermediate for communication with global teams.
