Description

  • Design and implement a resilient multi-cluster, multi-region AWS architecture with high availability, replication, failover, traffic routing, and RTO/RPO targets.
  • Lead the migration and enablement of core platform services across regions, including DynamoDB global tables, Amazon Cognito, API Gateway, and deprecated Lambda functions.
  • Develop automation and infrastructure tooling to reduce operational toil in provisioning, deployments, and day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible, while promoting standardization and reproducibility.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for iOS and Android mobile applications, including build, code signing, automated testing, and store distribution.
  • Automate certificate, provisioning profile, and release management workflows, integrating tools such as Fastlane into existing pipelines.
  • Configure and maintain end-to-end monitoring, dashboards, and alerts, and define SLIs/SLOs with observability tooling.
  • Drive FinOps practices such as spend visibility, rightsizing, savings plans, anomaly alerts, and cloud cost optimization.
  • Diagnose and resolve production incidents, lead blameless post-mortems, and continuously improve reliability.
  • Apply production security best practices and work closely with development teams to improve application reliability and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.
  • Strong AWS experience with Kubernetes/EKS, API Gateway, S3, containers, AWS Lambda, and load balancers.
  • Proven experience designing and operating multi-region and multi-cluster architectures with data replication, failover, DR, and global routing.
  • Hands-on experience with DynamoDB global tables and multi-region replication strategies.
  • Experience with Amazon Cognito or other identity solutions in distributed environments.
  • Experience migrating services between regions, including API Gateway, Lambda, and refactoring deprecated functions.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps on iOS and Android, including build, code signing, testing, and store release.
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and automation experience with Ansible.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins.
  • Hands-on experience with Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana for dashboards, alerts, and integrations.
  • Solid understanding of scalability and high availability.
  • Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
  • Scripting knowledge, preferably Python and Bash.
  • Understanding of production security practices, including secrets management, least privilege/IAM, and hardening.
  • Preferred: experience with Fastlane and mobile release automation, AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer, regulated environments such as financial services or insurance, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, and formal SRE practices such as SLOs and error budgets.
