Description

  • Develop cloud security blueprints for Google Cloud Platform.
  • Build deployable, reusable modules and policies that implement specific security solutions.
  • Contribute to open-source development work.
  • Understand business and technical requirements with limited input and drive work autonomously.
  • Test, investigate, analyze, and resolve technical problems.
  • Propose and discuss solutions, then incorporate feedback into the work.
  • Work end to end from problem understanding through delivery of the solution.
  • Create manual and automated tests.
  • Produce technical documentation such as manuals, tutorials, guides, and other supporting materials.
  • Automate and optimize development tasks.

Requirements

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform.
  • Solid software development background in Java, Python, or Go.
  • English communication ability at CEFR B2 level.
  • Ability to work autonomously from minimal requirements and show continuous progress.
  • Ability to test, investigate, analyze, solve, and communicate problems.
  • Ability to propose solutions and incorporate feedback.
  • Experience working as a complete software engineer across development, testing, and documentation.
  • Ability to automate and optimize development tasks.
  • Willingness and ability to quickly learn and use new technologies.
  • Experience with more than one programming language is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure security is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and GKE is a plus.
  • One or more GCP certifications is a plus, including Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Professional Cloud Developer, or Professional Cloud Network Engineer.
  • Terraform certifications are a plus.
  • English communication ability at CEFR C1+ is a plus.
