Description

  • Design and develop robust, scalable microservices using Kotlin and Java.
  • Apply software engineering best practices such as TDD, DDD, Clean Code, and Hexagonal Architecture.
  • Collaborate closely with the team and client to define and deliver the best solutions.
  • Develop unit, functional, and performance tests to ensure application quality.
  • Instrument applications for monitoring and observability using Grafana and Splunk.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues, including bugs and production incidents.
  • Work across the full product lifecycle, from new feature conception to deployment, support, and continuous improvement.
  • Use Git and Git Flow to manage code changes and maintain project organization.
  • Document APIs using Swagger.
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases and HTTP/HTTPS-based services.

Requirements

  • Solid experience with object-oriented languages, especially Java and Kotlin.
  • Proven experience with microservices architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of software development best practices, including TDD, DDD, and Clean Code.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with HTTP/HTTPS protocols, Git, and Swagger.
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems and drive continuous improvements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred experience with Spring Boot and/or Javalin.
  • Preferred experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Preferred experience with streaming/data event-driven solutions such as Kafka and event-driven architecture.
  • Preferred experience with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud and AWS.
  • Preferred experience with API management tools such as Apigee Hybrid.
  • Preferred experience with Node.js for API management and server-side development.
